Before the event
You are seeded by your rolling 24-month global leaderboard points, with a secondary tiebreaker when points are equal.

After the event
Leaderboard points are awarded from final placement: round(base × event multiplier). The multiplier is Size × SOF and is shown live on each tournament page.

Over time
Leaderboard points from every organization accumulate into one global balance; entries older than 24 months roll off your rolling total.
Every org on NNS uses the same points formula, so results are comparable across the platform.

How points are calculated
Final points = round(Base × Size × SOF). Base points come from how far you went relative to the field: the champion gets the full 16, and you give up an equal slice of the 16–2 range for every round you fell short — so the same relative finish is worth a comparable base whether the draw had 16 teams or 128. Size and SOF then scale payouts for larger and tougher fields. Each tournament page shows one live event multiplier that updates as the field fills.

SOF reflects the strength of the field's top players, so tougher fields score higher (clamped 0.5×–2.5×).

Tournament seeding
Before seeding games begin, players and teams are placed into pools using the same ranking order shown on tournament registration lists.
Priority 1 — Global Leaderboard Points
Rolling 24-month total sets overall rank, pool assignment, and pool seed
Priority 2 — Tiebreaker
A secondary tiebreaker is applied when global leaderboard points are equal
After seeding games finish, playoff pairing uses seeding match results (wins, then point differential). If points are tied, additional tiebreakers apply before a stable name/id fallback.
